  • Die Bedeutung von ẖr.j-sꜣ ist unbekannt. Bedeutungsvorschläge sind "der Allerletzte" (wörtl.: der hinter dem Rücken: Vogelsang, Kommentar, 219; gefolgt von Gardiner, in: JEA 9, 1923, 20; Faulkner, Concise Dictionary, 204; Hannig, Handwörterbuch, 641), "der Ehrliche, Aufrechte" (wörtl.: der mit einem Rücken, einer mit Rückgrat: Lefebvre, Romans et contes, 67; Perry, Critical Study, 521; Kurth, Der Oasenmann, 140), "der Hilfreiche" (wörtl.: der den Rücken unterstützt: Lichtheim, Literature, I, 184, Anm. 29), "der Lastträger" (Parkinson, The Tale of Sinuhe, 73). In B1 213/alt 182 und B1 228/alt 198 hat die Lüge einen Rücken und man könnte mit Parkinson (A Commentary, 301) an den Rücken des schlimmen Falles denken, d.h. an einen, der den schlimmen Fall trägt, d.h. unterstützt. Parkinson übersetzt: "A vile deed cannot reach harbour, nor the cargo-bearer landfall.", wobei dann aber sꜣḥ-tꜣ als ein Subst. aufgefaßt werden muß.
