  • - m-ꜥ ḥqꜣ n Ḥw.t-wꜥr.t: Smith / Smith, Texts, 60 mit Kommentar S. 52 trennen dies ab und stellen es an den Beginn des Wortlautes des Briefes, vermutlich als eine Art Außenadresse und weil Apophis sich als ḥqꜣ bezeichnet, wohingegen Kamose ihn ständig ꜥꜣm ẖs nennt, aber dann müßte da der Adressat stehen und nicht der Schreiber. Die Adresse kann sein: "(für) XX von seiten (m-ꜥ) YY", aber hier würde "(für) XX" fehlen (siehe A. el-Mohsen Bakir, Egyptian Epistolography, BdÉ 48, Le Caire 1970, 40; A. Scharff, in: ZÄS 59, 1924, 21), und außerdem ist die Formel mit m-ꜥ typisch für Untergeordnete, die einen Brief an einen Höhergestellten schreiben.
