  • - This is probably the initial part of a rather unusual Appeal to the Living, in which Antef is addressing the people who shall see the representations that he engraved on his stelae. While this precise wording is unknown elsewhere, it is not unheard of for stelae owners to refer to themselves as those who executed the engraving of their stelae, cf. eg. the appeal of Tetu on the Abydene stela of Nemtyemhat: rn=(j) pw nfr sḫꜣ=tn jw sš n=j m ḥw.t-nṯr tn (CG 20088).
    - J. Spiegel, Die Götter von Abydos (GOF IV, 1), Wiesbaden 1973, 143-144 vermutet, daß eine Opferformel im nicht erhaltenen Teil der Stele gestanden haben kann.
    - ḫt.n=j: auf DZA 21.694.130 wird jꜣw.t=j: "meine Ämter" als Ergänzung der Spuren vorgeschlagen.
