  • - nn: die Negation ist erhalten in oDeM 1188 und in oAshmolean Gardiner 318. Die älteren Übersetzungen kommen ohne Negation aus: "Behold, princes hold sway in the land" (Gardiner, in: JEA 1, 1914, 103); "Vois donc, les grands sont dans le même état que le pays (lui-même)" (Lefebvre); "for, behold, although great men are concerned with the land, what has been done is as what is not done." (Wilson; ähnlich Faulkner, Borghouts).
    Dann müßte m=k r=f wn jedoch wie in den vorherigen Sätzen als Subjunktiv aufgefaßt werden.
