- m=k wḏ(.w) (...) rḏi̯(.w) (...): Both wḏ(.w) and rḏi̯(.w) are perfective w-passives depending on the m=k of line 5.
- wn.wt ḥw.t-nṯr n.t tꜣ spꜣ.t: Lichtheim (1988, 81) reads "of these nomes", but then the demonstrative would hardly be singular (tꜣ spꜣ.t.pl). Sethe's (1927, 117) "these 3 nomes" (tꜣ spꜣ.t 3) is grammatically well possible, but lacks a referent within the text; on all of his stelae, Amenyseneb refers to his work in Abydos, but not beyond. I am taking the plural strokes (Z2) as a writing of the sign for irrigation canals (Aa8), a common classifier for spꜣ,t, and the whole as either "this nome" or "the nome".
