  • Der Satz ist unklar. Sowohl Wente ("Make Merry" Songs, S. 122) als auch Seyfried (Djehutiemhab, S. 35) übersetzen den Satz mit Hilfe der Phrase rwj m ...: "aufhören, etw. zu sein/haben" (vgl. hierzu A.H. Gardiner, The Inscription of Mes. A Contribution to the Study of Egyptian Judicial Procedure; Leipzig 1905 = Hildesheim 1964 (UGAÄ 4), S. 15-16, Anm. 26). In diesem Fall wäre das Pronomen nach rwj zu tilgen. Das Verständnisproblem wird noch durch die unklare Übersetzung des gḥ weiter erschwert. Auch die genaue Übersetzung von wꜣḥ ist im vorliegenden Fall unsicher. Seyfried, ebd., übersetzt es kausativ mit "dauern lassen", Wente, ebd., mit "finish" (vielleicht von der Bedeutung "niederlegen, hinlegen", Wb I 253, 1-2 (?)).
