  • - gr: kann sowohl ein Infinitiv als ein aktives Partizip sein. Nur in pPetersburg ist ein Determinativ erhalten: der Mann mit Hand am Mund, also wird nicht das Substantiv "der Schweigende" vorliegen.
    - ḫft-ḥr: ist nur auf pPetersburg weitestgehend erhalten (t ist nicht geschrieben), auf oDeM 1074 und oVandier steht nur [...]-ḥr. Für Goedicke ist dies ein Substantiv: "der Partner", daher: "wenn der Partner schweigt" (Goedicke: "as the prospect is mute"). Mittelägyptisch gesehen wird jw aber keinen Umstandssatz einleiten (so jedoch Kammerzell: "Sehen und Hören sind betäubt, / Wenn Schweigen Trumpf ist.").
