Die Form wird als ein Perfekt übersetzt durch Allen, Art of Medicine, 80 (gefolgt von Mathieu, in: Gasse/Servajean/Thiers (Hgg.), Et in Aegypto et ad Aegyptum. Recueil d'études dédiées à Jean-Claude Grenier, CENiM 5, Montpellier 2012, Bd. III, 502), optativisch durch Grundriss IV/1, 180 und Westendorf. Bei einem Zauberspruch erwartet man eine optativische Form. Für einen Imperativ bräuchte man einen Ansprechpartner, der nicht vorliegt, denn das Heilmittel ist nicht personifiziert.
