  • Das n ist für den Anschluss eines Epithetons an Ptah schwer zu erklären, weshalb hier eine Emendierung vorgeschlagen und der Übersetzung Helcks (S. 389) gefolgt wird. Murnane (S. 216) übersetzt "... in the horizon of 'Ptah of the Handsome Face'" und scheint damit Ptḥ-n-nfr-ḥr als ein Toponym aufzufassen, was die Existenz eines n gleichfalls nicht rechtfertigt. Ein zwingender Hinweis auf das Vorliegen eines Toponyms liegt m.E. nicht vor.
