  • Bei bṯt.pl muß es sich um eine Nisbe zu bṯw "Giftschlange" handeln. Hannig, Handwörterbuch. Marburger Edition, 282-283 {10243} führt das Wort als eigenes Lemma bṯtj: "der an einer unheilbaren Krankheit Leidende" auf, allerdings geht die Stelle offensichtlich auf den vorliegenden Text zurück (Konstruktion ssnb bṯtj). Spiegelberg (1922) übersetzt "Fiebernder (?)", Mathieu (2000), 248 "les morsures". In Papyrus Brooklyn 47.218.138, Rto x+5.15 steht ẖr.j bṯw: "der an der bṯw-Krankheit leidet", was einen guten Sinn ergibt.
