  • - pꜣ mt(r): "die Flut". Griffith dachte an mḏ.t: "die Tiefe (des Wassers)", das demotisch und koptisch gleichlautend und ebenfalls maskulin ist (gefolgt von Simpson, Lichtheim, Roccati, Vernus; Römheld, Wege der Weisheit, 155).
    - rʾ n hnw: die genaue Bedeutung von "Rand der Welle" ist unklar. Übersetzungsvorschläge sind "Sandbank" (Lange), "canal bank" (Simpson), "Uferbank" (Quack, Ani, 203), "water's edge" (Lichtheim), "rivage" (Laisney), "Ufer der Wellen" (Römheld), "surface du flot" (Vernus). Oder ist rʾ n hnw eine Graphie eines Hapax Legomenom rhn.t: "durchwatbare Stelle, Furt", abgeleitet von rhni̯: "waten"?
