  • - mhn: zwar gibt es auch hn: "Kasten" (so lesen z.B. Lange und Grumach), aber die Graphie mit mꜥ am Anfang spricht eher für mhn (so auch schon Wb. II), weshalb die Präposition ergänzt werden muß. In der Textparallele oKairo SR 1840 steht [jmm ḥt]p=w m-ẖn.w ẖ.t.
    - pnꜥ.yt: die in Wb. I, 509.14-15 erratene Bedeutung "Schloß oder Schlüssel" ist falsch (so jedoch die Übersetzungen von Lange, Wilson, Simpson, Lichtheim, Foster). Auch die Bedeutung "Türpfosten" (Grumach, Roccati) ist abzulehnen, ebenso "Pflock" (Brunner). Für die zuerst von Griffith vorgeschlagene Bedeutung "Türschwelle" siehe Osing, Nominalbildung, II, 807-809, Anm. 1042 und Laisney, Aménémopé, 50, Anm. 234. Laisney übersetzt m jb=k nicht mit "in deinem Herzen", sondern mit "pour ton coeur", was eigentlich n jb=k wäre (vgl. Vers 3.16, wo im Londoner Papyrus m ns=k steht, im oKairo SR 1840 n ns=k).
