  • - Die Interpretation des Satzes ist schwierig. Parkinson hat ẖr.t=k m pr=k als Umstandssatz zum Vorherigen aufgefaßt, was sich in seiner Interpretation sowohl von der Identität von nb als Nemti-nacht wie von der Versstruktur (anders Fecht, in: Fs Simpson, I, 229) erklären läßt. Dann ist ẖr.t Rensi's (Bestechungs)Anteil am Diebstahl von Nemti-nacht.
    - Für die meisten Übersetzer gibt es jedoch einen Zusammenhang mit den gleich danach genannten Mengen an Bier und Brot. In den älteren Bearbeitungen wird angenommen, daß es hier um die Rationszulage des Rensi selbst geht (Gardiner, Lefebvre, Hornung, Lichtheim; laut Faulkner, in: Simpson, The Literature of Ancient Egypt, 36, Anm. 16 ist es sarkastisch gemeint), aber da diese Mengen so gering sind, gehen Fecht (in: Fs Simpson, I, 238) und Goedicke (in: ZÄS 125, 1998, 110-111) davon aus, daß es die Zulage ist, die Rensi seinem Klientel austeilt (vgl. so auch Gnirs, in: LingAeg 8, 2000, 151).
