    - Übersetzung mit ḫnp als pass. sḏm.w=f nach Fecht, in: Fs Simpson, I, 234 und Parkinson, The Tale of Sinuhe, 64 (er übersetzt ḫnj anders: "when the belongings are snatched by the deprived"); vgl. schon Faulkner, in: Simpson, The Literature of Ancient Egypt, 38.
    - ḫnp wurde auch häufig als Infinitiv gedeutet und entweder beim vorherigen Satz angeschlossen oder als Anfang eines neuen Satzes aufgefaßt:
    -- Gardiner, in: JEA 9, 1923, 12: "Thefts are natural to him who has no possessions, and the snatching at possessions by the criminal." (ähnlich Lefebvre, Romans et contes, 55).
