  • - sꜣp: Wb. IV, 18.4; Hapax; von Montet, in: Kêmi 3, 1935, 122-124 mit Ptol. sp und kopt. sôp verbunden: "ein Bassin fluten". Das Determinativ des Armes ist dann bei einer Bedeutung "fluten" unerwartet, zumal Chnumhotep nicht schreibt, dass er den Teich zuerst ausgegraben hat o.ä.
    - mr: Newberry, 66 transliteriert š (ebenso Sethe, Urk. VII, 35 mit Anm. a), laut Montet, 124 ist es aber eindeutig der Kanal (N36: mr) und nicht der Teich (N37: š), weshalb Lloyd, 35, Anm. 60 mr transliteriert.
    - sbꜣ o.ä.: Das Gebäude wird mit einem Logogramm geschrieben. Montet und Lloyd lesen sbḫ.t; bei einem femininen Wort müßte jedoch ḏḏ.t statt ḏḏ stehen. Lloyd, 35, Anm. 61-62 ergänzt qd=(j) und ḏḏ=(j): "I filled a pool with water, (carefully) fashioning its (the tomb's) portal and giving air to this columned hall." Die geminierte Form ḏḏ=j kann jedoch nicht im Umstandssatz verwendet werden, weshalb hier ein Partizip gewählt wird.
    - wꜣḫ: Die Zeichenanordnung liest sich wꜣḫꜣ, aber das Wachtelküken als Anfangszeichen für wꜣḫ: "Säulenhalle, Audienzsaal, Empfangshalle" ist unerwartet. Deshalb ist wohl wḫꜣ: "Säulensaal" gemeint.
