  • - ḥbn=f: das Suffix muß sich auf den König und nicht auf das Heer beziehen, denn die anschließenden Verben ḫꜣꜥ=sn und ḏꜣf=sn sind 3. Pers. Plural. Tacke übersetzt "um zu feiern", als ob er ḥbn=f als ein finales sḏm=f betrachtet mit mšꜥ als Subjekt.
    - m nḫt ḥr wsr: Wb. I, 362.17-18; Caminos' Übersetzung erweckt den Eindruck, daß sich dies auf das heimkehrende Heer bezieht (ebenso Tacke). Anders Fischer-Elfert, in: SAK 27, 1999, 83-84: "Das siegreiche Heer ist zurückgekehrt, nachdem er (= Merenptah) triumphiert hat / durch Sieg und Macht, / nachdem es Feuer gelegt hat an Jsdrktw, / nachdem es verbrannt hat (die) Mryn".
