  • Übersetzung nach Vernus, Sagesses, 79: "Il n'est pas question qu'il dise: "Puissé-je dépendre de moi pour mon bénéfice!"
    Man könnte statt ḥr tp=j auch ḥr(.j)-tp lesen, aber die grammatische Konstruktion mit dem. abh. Pron. wj ist problematisch (ḥꜣ wj ist wohl keine Schreibung der Partikel ḥꜣ oder ḥwj):
    - (...) not saying "would that I had a master" (Gunn, Studies in Egyptian Syntax, 158);
    - (...) sans dire "Puissé-je être (?) un maître!" (Zaba, Ptahhotep, 74).
