  • - jw jr.tj=fj šsm.tj: Für Sanchez/Meltzer, Edwin Smith Papyrus, 204 ist dieses Symptom ein Hinweis dafür, dass die Nackenverletzung durch einen Schlag gegen die Vorderseite des Kopfes verursacht wurde. In der Interpretation von Ebbell, Alt-ägyptische Chirurgie, 42 könnte eine Beschädigung des Nervus sympathicus im Bereich der unteren Halswirbel vorliegen (ebenso Brawanski, in: SAK 32, 2004, 68, Anm. 5), es ist also kein Schlag gegen den Kopf erforderlich.
