  • Das Fortnehmen des Gehörs ist auch ein Motiv eines Zauberspruchs im Brooklyner Schlangenbuch (P. Brooklyn 47.218.48 un 85, 5,11-12), wo explizit Selqet als diejenige bezeichnet wird, die der bṯt-Schlange die Ohren weggenommen hat (wn mw,t =[j] Srq,t nḥm ꜥnḫ.du=f). Alternativ könnte eine Verschreibung von nmt,t "Schreiten" vorliegen.
