  • - %case 1: zp 2| case 2: {zp-2}〈np(ꜣ)〉% pꜣj: Das erste Wort ist geschrieben wie zp 2, was als eine Aufforderung zur Wiederholung des Vorangehenden aufgefasst werden könnte. Die vorangehenden Sätze sind jedoch bekannt aus Spruch I der Metternichstele (Z. 1-3) und aus Parallelhandschriften dazu (siehe A. Klasens, A Magical Statue Base (Socle Behague) in the Museum of Antiquities at Leiden, in: OMRO NS 33, 1952, 37-39, 59, 99-100 (Spell VI: Z. g 10-15), mit Textsynopse): ḥꜣ=k Ꜥꜣpp np(ꜣ) pfj n(.j) Rꜥw / q(ꜣ)b pfj n(.j) jm.j-ẖ.t „Zurück, du, Apophis, jene Nabelschnur des Re, jene Windung der Eingeweide!“ Deshalb ist zp-2 sicherlich als Fehler für np(ꜣ) „Nabelschnur“ zu emendieren. Dann lässt sich pꜣj auch besser syntaktisch einordnen. Kákosy und Moussa, in: SAK 25, 1998, 152 und 155 mit 157 Anm. (I) bleiben bei zp 2 und verstehen das nachfolgende als „that one who is turned back (?) from Re“ mit pꜣj als selbständig verwendetes Demonstrativpronomen.
