  • - ꜣbw: Da dieses Verb auch transitiv verwendet wird, kann sowohl ein aktives Partizip: "der sich nach Hermopolis sehnt" als auch eine Relativform: "nach dem Hermopolis sich sehnt" (so Erman, Assmann) oder ein passives Partizip vorliegen (so Barucq/Daumas: "dieu désiré d'Hermopolis"). Als aktives Partizip übersetzen de Buck, Caminos, Brunner, Fecht, Simpson, Lichtheim, Grandet, Pernigotti:.
    - pꜣ zẖꜣ.w-šꜥ.t 〈n〉 psḏ.t: Fecht, 67 lehnt diese Emendierung von Gardiner, LEM, 60a aus metrischen Gründen ab.
    - ꜥꜣ jm.j Wnw: Entweder ein neues Epitheton des Thoth: "du Großer, der in Hermopolis ist" (so alle Übersetzer), oder eine Präzisierung von psḏ.t: "die große Neunheit, die in Hermopolis ist". Aus metrischen Gründen (Parallelismus mit pꜣ hb šps.j pꜣ nṯr ꜣbw Ḫmnw) ist die erste Lösung vorzuziehen.
