  • wn dient hier zur Einleitung einer irrealen Aussage, A. Erman, Neuaegyptische Grammatik; Leipzig, 2. Auflage, 1933, S. 259, § 536.

    m-ḏr n-jm: Laut Gardiner, LESt 67, 1 mit Anm. a handelt es sich bei m-ḏr um eine Schreibung für die Präposition m-ḏi̯. Die meisten grammatischen Analysen und Übersetzungen dieser Passage folgen dem Vorschlag. Goedicke, S. 64, Anm. av schlug dagegen vor, m-ḏr nicht zu emendieren und die Phrase mit "because of whom" zu übersetzen. L. Lesko, A Dictionary of Late Egyptian; Bd. IV; Providence 1989, S. 161 gab für m-ḏr eine Übersetzung "because of, after" an, fügte dem aber "(for m-di̯?)" hinzu.
