  • Rf. lässt den Rest aus, wohl weil der Schreiber wieder mit den Augen verrutscht ist, denn es wäre mit der Präposition ḥr in §62 weiter gegangen, die ebenso den Beginn von §64 bildet. Dennoch ist der Satz vollständig und richtig.
    Die hieroglyphischen Versionen stellen die "erste Kampfformation" am Ufer des Orontes auf, nicht die Abteilung des Seth. Wahrscheinlich handelt es sich um das Westufer des Flusses als Grenzgebiet von Qadesch und Amurru. Auf keinen Fall kann sich eine Einheit am Mittelmeer befunden haben, wie frühere Überlegungen annahmen. Vgl. von der Way, Textüberlieferung, 360f. (zu 62).
