  • Die Schreibung mit n + Pluralstriche spricht für eine 1.Ps.Pl.c. Dann würde ramses II. hier im Pluralis majestatis sprechen, wofür mir sonst kein Beleg bekannt ist. Deshalb emendiere ich zu 1. Ps. Sg.c.

  • RITA II, 194 übersetzt "... you who say 'they'll do (it)!', according to the plans that have gone out to their work site in the sacred mountains - hear ..."; Davies, Hist. Inscr. 2, 229 übersetzt "..., for tehy say: "They will do it", according to theplans which have gone to the work-site in the holy mountain. Hear ...". Dem Partizip šmi̯ als Bezugswort sḫr zu zuordnen, halte ich für wenig wahrscheinlich, viel eher scheint es sich mir hier um eine weitere Anrede an die Handwerker zu handeln, und zwar speziell die, die auf den smd,t im Gebel Ahmar arbeiten.

  • Bisher nur in diesem Text belegt. Meeks gibt allgemein "Arbeitsstätte, Dienst" als Übersetzung. Das Det. "Steinquader" (Gardiner, Sign-list O39) spricht für eine speziellere Bedeutung. Ich denke, es handelt sich um eine Bezeichnung für ein Abbaugebiet innerhalb eines Steinbruchs, das einer bestimmten "Bauhütte" zugewiesen ist.
