  • ḥr: Die Lesung der kurzen Zeichengruppe ist unsicher. Erman/Lange schlugen w: "Bezirk" vor; üblicherweise wird diesem Vorschlag gefolgt und, um einen Kontrast zum folgenden Satz zu erhalten, mit "er ist frei" o.ä. übersetzt. Jäger, S. 280 und 284, Anm. xx wies auf die Problematik dieser Übersetzung hin, die sich einzig auf dem Kontext begründet und durch keine Bedeutung des w gedeckt wird, und schlug ḥr: "Aufsicht" vor. Auch seine Lesung ist nicht zweifelsfrei, scheint aber besser zu passen als die übliche Lesung. In Ermangelung eines noch besseren Vorschlages wird ihm daher an dieser Stelle gefolgt.
