  • - nḥꜣ: Wird in Wb. II, 290. 5-14 als "wild, schrecklich, gefährlich u.ä." übersetzt, in medizinischen Texten als "uneben; unruhig" (MedWb I, 471). Das Adjektivverb wurde ausführlich von Lloyd, in: JEA 61, 1975, 59-66 untersucht, der ebenfalls zur Bedeutung "rough" kommt, wobei Inschrift Wadi Hammamat Nr. 191 eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Davon abweichend übersetzt Meltzer (in: Sanchez/Meltzer, Edwin Smith Papyrus, 54) nḥꜣ mit "shaking" (Pseudopartizip/Stativ) unter Bezugnahme auf dieselbe Inschrift. Ebenfalls abzulehnen sind ältere Übersetzungen von Breasted ("disturbing") oder Lefebvre ("inquiétant").
