  • - Satzaufteilung, Übersetzung und Interpretation sind unsicher. Eine andere Aufteilung nach pCarlsberg ist jri̯ gr.w bšt=k ḥḏi̯.t p.t pw / rnp.t 100 mnw pw wḏꜣ.
    - p.t: "Himmel" wird eine Metapher sein, aber wofür? Für die heile Welt der Götter oder das Jenseits, für den Tempel, für das Grab (so Goedicke, in: ZÄS 129, 2002, 120) oder für ein gutes Andenken, die Erinnerung an einen Menschen (so Blumenthal, in: ZÄS 107, 1980, 7, Anm. 21)?
    - ḥḏi̯.t: ist dies ein Infinitiv, eine Relativform oder sogar ein Partizip?
    Man vergleiche die Übersetzungen:
    (1.) mit ḥḏi̯.t p.t pw rnp.t 100:
    - "Cent ans est ce que peut détruire le ciel." (d.h. der Himmel kann 100 Jahre vernichten) (Vernus, Sagesses, 149, mit Bedeutung auf S. 158, Anm. 89: ne renonce pas devant une situation défavorable, puisque les chose peuvent changer);
    - "The destruction of the cemetery is 100 years (ago)" (Goedicke).
    (2.) mit ḥḏi̯.t p.t pw:
    - "La destruction, c'est l'affaire du ciel" (Vernus, Sagesses, 158, Anm. 89);
    - "Es bedeutet, den Himmel zu zerstören" (Blumenthal, in: ZÄS 107, 1980, 18, Anm. 139).
    (3.) Mit Emendierung von ḥḏi̯ zu wḏ: "befehlen, anordnen": "Was der Himmel zuweist, sind 100 Jahre" (Quack).
    (4.) Mit Emendierung von ḥḏi̯: "zerstören" zu ḥḏi̯: "hell sein": "100 Jahre sind (nur) ein Aufleuchten des Himmels (d.h. ein kurzer Blitz)" (Oréal, in: RdE 51, 2000, 147-150).
