  • mj nꜣ ṯꜣi̯=k jm=sn: Fischer-Elfert versteht den Satz so, daß sowohl der von den Soldaten mitgeführte Proviant (nkt). als auch der šrm.t-Proviant, den Amenemope "von ihnen" (an)genommen hat, d.h. von der nicht explizit genannten palästinensischen Bevölkerung, die von den Na'aruna-Rebellen befreit worden ist, zu wenig sind. Allerdings hat man den Eindruck, daß nkt hier synonym zu šrmt ist und nicht eine andere Kategorie von Nahrung bedeutet. Eine andere Übersetzung bei Gardiner: "as compared with(??) that which thou takest of them" und bei Wente: "as though you had pilfered from it." Dann würde jm=sn sich auf pꜣ nkt beziehen, obwohl man jm=f erwartet.
