  • Die Bedeutung dieses Wortes ist unklar. Roeder 1915, 179 und Peust 2004, 213 übersetzen "Überschwemmung (?)" bzw. "Flut(?)". Lichtheim 1980 übersetzt kommentarlos "flood". Barguet 1953, 19 "la crue", wobei er in Fußnote 5 diskutiert, ob der Klassifikator D54 hier nicht "la marche de l'eau" implizieren soll. Überdies verweist er auf einen Namen T-nt-pA-mw-Sm (vgl. CdE 32 [1941]), in welchem das mw ebenfalls mit einem D54 klassifiziert ist. Dagegen denkt Panov 2018, 80 (105), 159 an eine Anlehnung an das demotische tA-mrwT - Anbaufähiges Land (Erichsen, Glossar, 257). In jedem Falle geht es klar um etwas, was von Hapi gegeben wird, mithin also höchstwahrscheinlich um ein Wort aus dem Bereich Wasser oder Bewässertes.
