  • Bei dieser nicht gut dokumentierten militärischen Einheit scheint es sich um Fußsoldaten zu handeln, die die Streitwagenabteilung begleiten, teilweise wohl auch rennend, und zu deren Schutz dienen, aber auch feindliche Wagenkämpfer und -lenker töten, wenn deren Streitwagen kaputt gegangen war oder sie abgeworfen wurden. Ob die hier erwähnten hethitischen "Läufer" tweilweise auf den Streitwägen transportiert wurden, bleibt unklar. Vgl. hierzu A.
