Es ist schwer, in pAnastasi IV zwischen beiden Formen zu trennen. Die jüngere Perfekt-Form mit bwpw ist in dieser Handschrift nicht belegt, als negativer Aorist kommen bw sḏm.n=f in Zl. 6.9 und (jw) bw jri̯=f sḏm in Zl. 2.7 (mit jw) und in Zl. 13.5 vor. Auch die Formen bw sḏm=f in Zl. 2.8 und 5.2 und jw bw sḏm=f in Zl. 11.10 sind am Ehesten negative Aoriste. Caminos übersetzt "before it had been in the water many days", was die Form bw sḏm.t=f voraussetzt.
