  • sn ꜥꜣ und sn šrj: Hier wird ein Onkel-Neffe-Verhältnis ausgedrückt, vgl. D. Franke, Altägyptische Verwandtschaftsbezeichnungen im Mittleren Reich; Hamburg 1983, S. 64. Hierin Spuren eines älteren Erzählstranges mit Seth und Horus als Brüder zu sehen (so in den bisherigen Übersetzungen), ist nicht nötig. Die Adjektive ꜥꜣ und šrj dienen hier nach Franke (ebd.) zur Präzisierung der an sich schwammigen Bezeichnung sn, jedoch wohl auch zur Unterstreichung von Seths Argument: Während er schon erwachsen ist, ist Horus eben immer noch ein Kind (šrj).
