  • mj pꜣ whꜣ.t=k: Ergänzung nach Quack, wobei nur das Determinativ von whi fehlen würde (vgl. Zl. x+4.4). Quack versteht =k als Objekt des Infinitivs und er übersetzt: "so wie man dich wegen eines Wortes verdirbt". Das setzt eine transitive Verwendung des Verbs voraus. Hier wird =k jedoch als Subjekt eines intransitiven Verbs verstanden. Vernus, Sagesses, 264, Anm. 100 übersetzt: "... Afin qu'on ne vienne pas te chercher / Pour porter témoignage sur un autre, / Dans la mesure où tu es perdu à cause d'un mot".
